QuietCase Limited Warranty Policy

QuietCase Limited Warranty Policy

Effective Date: 01 January 2026

1. Our Commitment

At QuietCase, we are committed to designing and manufacturing high-quality products that are built to withstand the demands of everyday school and organisational use.

We work closely with our manufacturing partners, maintain quality control procedures throughout production, and continually improve our products based on customer feedback and real-world usage.

This Limited Warranty explains the warranty coverage available for QuietCase products and the process for submitting a warranty claim.

2. Warranty Coverage

QuietCase warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase.

If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, QuietCase may, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the product;
  • Replace the product; or
  • Provide a credit for the value of the product.

The remedy provided by QuietCase shall be the purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty.

3. Products Covered

This warranty applies to:

  • QuietCase
  • QuietCase Lite
  • QuietBase
  • QuietKey
  • Other QuietCase branded products supplied by Multplx Ltd

unless otherwise stated in writing.

4. Warranty Claim Requirements

To submit a warranty claim, the purchaser must:

  • Complete the official QuietCase Warranty Claim Form;
  • Provide proof of purchase;
  • Provide details of the issue being reported;
  • Provide clear photographs and/or videos showing the condition of the product and the reported fault; and
  • Submit the claim within ten (10) business days of discovering the issue.

QuietCase may request additional information where necessary to assess the claim.

QuietCase reserves the right to require the product to be returned for inspection before determining whether the claim is covered under warranty.

5. Assessment of Claims

Each claim is assessed individually based on the information and evidence provided.

As manufacturing defects are typically evident from the condition of the product, the purchaser is responsible for providing sufficient evidence to demonstrate that the reported issue is consistent with a manufacturing defect rather than damage occurring after the product entered service.

Submission of a warranty claim does not guarantee approval.

We understand that not every product issue falls neatly into a category, and we aim to take a fair and reasonable approach when assessing claims. Where appropriate, we will work with customers to achieve a practical and satisfactory outcome.

6. What Is Covered

Examples of issues that may be covered include:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials;
  • Manufacturing defects in assembly;
  • Faults that occur during normal intended use;
  • Product failures that are not attributable to misuse, accidental damage, or tampering.

The existence of a fault alone does not automatically indicate a manufacturing defect.

7. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Deliberate Damage or Tampering

  • Attempts to bypass the locking mechanism;
  • Prying, forcing, striking, bending, twisting, cutting, or dismantling any component;
  • Intentional damage or vandalism;
  • Reverse engineering or modification of the product.

Misuse

  • Use outside the intended purpose of the product;
  • Failure to follow QuietCase instructions or guidance;
  • Use of unauthorised accessories or modifications.

Accidental Damage

  • Impact damage;
  • Crushing damage;
  • Damage caused by dropping from height;
  • Damage caused during transport or storage after delivery.

Normal Wear and Tear

  • Cosmetic marks, scratches, dents, or scuffs;
  • Gradual deterioration resulting from normal use;
  • Wear associated with daily handling and operation.

Environmental Factors

  • Exposure to excessive heat, moisture, chemicals, or other environmental conditions outside normal use.

8. School and Organisational Use

QuietCase products supplied to schools and organisations are intended to operate as physical containment tools.

The effectiveness of any phone-free policy, safeguarding programme, behaviour policy, or operational process remains the responsibility of the purchaser.

Where products are issued to students, minors, employees, or other third parties, responsibility for supervision, handling, policy enforcement, and appropriate use remains with the purchasing organisation.

9. Replacement Products

Any replacement product supplied under warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer.

Replacement of a product does not restart the original warranty period.

10. Limitation of Warranty

Except as expressly stated in this Limited Warranty, QuietCase makes no other warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

QuietCase does not warrant that its products will achieve any specific behavioural, disciplinary, educational, safeguarding, security, or operational outcome.
